Lukasz Sebastián Gottwald, más conocido como Dr. Luke, es un músico,cantautor estadounidense de ascendencia polaca, conocido por escribir canciones principalmente pop rock y por indagar de manera ocasional en tabúes en sus letras. Es considerado como uno de los productores de la música pop más exitosos de los últimos años.[1]
Gottwald ha trabajado con artistas como Kesha, Avril Lavigne, Miranda Cosgrove, P!nk, Backstreet Boys, The Veronicas, Katy Perry, Lady Sovereign, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Becky G, Sugababes y Kelly Clarkson, entre otros.
Cinco de los trabajos más exitosos de Gottwald son los sencillos «Hold It Against Me» de Britney Spears, «Girlfriend» de Avril Lavigne, «Tik Tok» de Ke$ha, «I Kissed a Girl», «Hot N Cold» y «California Gurls» de Katy Perry. «My Life Would Suck Without You» de Kelly Clarkson y «Say So» de Doja Cat , los cuales lideraron numerosos mercados musicales alrededor del mundo.

Acusaciones de violación y abuso
El 14 de octubre 2014 se anunció que la artista Kesha estaría demandando a Gottwald por asalto sexual y agresión, acoso sexual, violencia de género, abuso emocional, y violación de las prácticas de negocios de California a lo largo de su relación de trabajo de 10 años. Gottwald respondió presentando una contrademanda alegando que todo el asunto era un intento por Kesha, su madre y su nueva empresa de gestión que le extorsionan para liberarla de su contrato.[4][5]
