Cary Elwes

Cary Elwes, cuyo nombre real es Ivan Simon Cary Elwes, (Londres, Inglaterra, 26 de octubre de 1962), es un actor británico.

Es el tercer hijo del pintor Dominick Elwes y de la diseñadora de interiores Tessa Kennedy. Después de terminar sus estudios en Inglaterra se fue a estudiar actuación al Sarah Lawrence College en los Estados Unidos.
Su primera aparición en el cine fue en la película Yesterdays hero (1979), pero su primer papel con entidad fue en el filme dirigido por Rupert Everet "Otro país" (1984). Su primer papel como protagonista llegó con la película "Lady Jane". Elwes tuvo un papel recurrente en la última temporada de The X-Files como el agente del FBI Brad Follmer. Se especula que aparecerá en la película Saw VI (2009) (retomando el rol de Lawrence Gordon) tras existir rumores que afirman que ha firmado un contrato para dar su voz y su imagen en la realización del videojuego de la misma saga.
Elwes se casó en 2000 con la fotógrafa Lisa Marie Kurbikoff, con quien tiene una hija, Dominique.
