John Davies Cale, OBE (9 de marzo de 1942) es un músico galés, compositor, multiinstrumentista y productor. Es muy conocido por haber integrado la mítica banda neoyorquina Velvet Underground en la segunda mitad de la década del '60, para más tarde abandonarla por discrepancias con Lou Reed.
