Fundación Koussevitzki
La Fundación Koussevitzki es una fundación creada en 1942 por Serge Koussevitzki cuyo fin es ayudar a la creación y difusión de la música contemporánea. Es una de las entidades del mundo que tiene en su haber haber encargado obras a los compositores más destacados de su tiempo, habiendo sido fruto de esos encargos algunas obras maestras contemporáneas, como el Concierto para orquesta (Bartók) (1943), la ópera Peter Grimes de Britten, (1944), Un superviviente en Varsoviade Schöenberg (1947) , la Sinfonía Turangalila de Messiaen (1948), la ópera King Priamo de Tippett (1961).
