Los Alternative Press Music Awards son unos premios entregados anualmente por Alternative Press, una revista estadounidense dedicada al Rock Alternativo.
Historia[editar]
El 24 de abril de 2014, Alternative Press anunció la organización de una entrega de premios que se celebrará el 21 de julio de 2014, en el Salón del Rock and Roll de la Fama y Museo en Cleveland, Ohio. Mark Hoppus, bajista y vocalista de la emergente banda Punk Blink 182, acogió el debut del evento. el primer show fue transmitido en vivo en AXS TV y Radio Idobi el país.
La primera entrega de premios contó con las actuaciones de artistas como The Misfits, All Time Low, Sleeping with Sirens, Twenty One Pilots y más. Durante la primera exposición que el artista fue galardonado en 15 categorías. 12 de las categorías fueron elegidas por los lectores de Alternative Press a través de una votación en línea.
