Stephen Farrelly[1] es un lucha libre profesional irlandés conocido como Sheamus que trabaja actualmente en la World Wrestling Entertainment compitiendo en la marca Extreme Championship Wrestling. Carrera
Irish Whip Wrestling y All-Star Wrestling (2002-2006)
Sheamus O'Shaunessy empezó su carrera en The Monster Factory en abril de 2002 donde entrenó bajo la supervisión de luchador de la World Wrestling Federation Larry Sharpe. Hizo su debut seis días después contra Robert Pigeon. Pero una lesión grave de cuello paralizó su carrera durante dos años.
En mayo de 2004, Shaunessy volvió a entrenar en la Irish Whip Wrestling, una escuela en Dublín e hizo su primera aparición en el evento Mount Temple el 9 de julio contra Mark Burns, ganándole fácilmente. Real Quality Wrestling (2007)
Sheamus O'Shaunessy participó en muchas peleas, entrando en un feudo contra "Thee" Drew Galloway. El 24 de marzo de 2007, O'Shaunessy hizo su debut en la RQW derrotando a Stu Sanders. World Wrestling Entertainment (2008-presente)
Inicios y territorio de desarrollo
O'Shaunessy apareció en el episodio televisado de RAW en la M.E.N. Arena de Manchester, England, como miembro de seguridad de la WWE. Su rol era el de expulsar a D-Generation X (DX) del ring. After escorting them from ringside, DX later attacked Rated-RKO after their match, resulting in O'Shaunessy and the rest of the security team to come down to the ring and break up the fight. However, O'Shaunessy and the security team were attacked by DX. O'Shaunessy was the last security guard standing and received a Pedigree from Triple H as a result of his interjection between DX and Rated-RKO.
O'Shaunessy also had a tryout with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in November, around the time of a Dublin house show.
In April 2007, O'Shaunessy was called upon by the WWE once again for another tryout, which became a dark match against Jimmy Wang Yang in the Datch Forum in Milan before a SmackDown! taping.
The following week in the Earls Court, O'Shaunessy was once again back at the WWE house show, where more tryouts were held. This time, however, WWE gave him a developmental contract. After receiving his contract, Sheamus was placed in WWE's newest developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. On February 19, 2008, O'Shaunessy teamed up with the debuting Kafu and were joined by SmackDown superstar Dave Taylor as they took part in a tag team tournament to crown the first-ever holders of the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship. They advanced past the first round after defeating "Thee Superstar" Christopher Gray and "The Rascal" Tommy Taylor but lost to Brad Allen and Nick Nemeth the next round in the second round.
O'Shaunessy worked a dark match on the July 22 Smackdown/ECW tapings, losing to Ron Killings.[2]
On September 18, Sheamus defeated Jake Hager at an FCW show to win the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship. El 11 de diciembre peleó contra Eric Escobar, Joe Hennig y Drew McIntyre por el Campeonato Peso Pesado de Florida de la FCW, pelea que ganó Escobar.
2009

Other media
Farrelly played the role of TWO TON in the 2007 movie The Escapist alongside Joseph Fiennes and Brian Cox. He had a small role in 2006 Irish film, 3 Crosses, and was a Celtic Warrior Zombie in the opening sequence of the 2007 movie Bog Body opposite Vinnie Jones. He appeared on several episodes of the famous Irish sockpuppet, Dustin the Turkey's show "Dustins Daily News" where he had a rivalry with Dustin. The ended up with Dustin and Sheamus having a "fight" which Dustin won. He also appeared on The Podge and Rodge Show as one of the leprechaun wrestlers, along with Georgie McFly.
