Aceleración por codec de video[editar]

Explicaciones de los campos de las tablas[editar]

Los campos en las tablas listadas debajo describen lo siguiente:

  • Modelo – El nombre de marketing para el procesador asignado por AMD/ATI. Notar que la marca ATi ha sido reemplazada la marca AMD desde la serie de unidades de procesamiento gráfico Radeon HD 6000.Unidades de procesamiento gráfico para Profesionales también cambiaron su marca a AMD.[6]
  • Lanzamiento – Fecha de lanzamiento para el procesador.
  • Número de Modelo – VPUs móviles están basados en varias familias de tecnologías. ATi asignaba nombres en clave basados modelo en cadena "MXX", los cuales no se relacionan con la base actual tecnlológica de los procesadores (representados por un R-número). Adicionalmente, ATi es el único proovedor para toas las partes Mobility Radeon. Por esta razón, excepto la serie Mobility Radeon 2000, todas los procesadores Mobility están listados en la misma tabla.
  • Nombre en Clave – El nombre en clave de ingeniería usado para los procesadores (típìcamente designados por un nombre RNXX donde N es número de la serie y XX es el segmento de mercado para el cual el producto está diseñado. Adicionalmente, un nombre en clave puede seguir el formato RVNXX donde "V" típicamente significa a un procesador dirigido a un segmento de mercado value o mainstream).
  • Fab – Proceso de fabricación. Promedio del tamaño de los componentes del procesador.
  • Interfaz del bus – Bus al cual el procesador gráfico está asignado al sistema (típicamente es un slot de expansión, tales como PCI, AGP, o PCIe).
  • Memoria – La referencia acerca de la memoria usada por el procesador.
  • Frecuencia núcleo – La frecuencia de referencia del núcleo gráfico (usado por algunos fabricantes para ajustar frecuencias más altas o más bajas, este número será siempre mostrado por ATi).
  • Frecuencia memoria – La frecuencia de referencia de la memoria (usado por algunos fabricantes para ajustar frecuencias más altas o más bajas, este número será siempre mostrado por ATi).
  • Configuración núcleo – El trazado de los pipelines gráficos, en términos de unidades funcionales. Con el tiempo el número, tipo y variedad de unidades funcionales en el núcleo de la GPU ha cambiado significativamente; antes de cada sección en la lista hay una explicación de cuales unidades funcionales están presentes en cada generación de procesadores.

    • Shader operations - Cuantas operaciones los pixel shaders (o shaders unificados en DirectX 10 y en nuevos GPUs) pueden procesar. Medido en MOperationes/s o GOperationes/s.
    • Pixel fillrate - El número de pixelesixels the raster operators can render to a display in one second. Measured in MPixels/s or GPixels/s.
    • Texture fillrate - The rate at which a texture can be mapped by the texture mapping units onto a polygon mesh in one second. Measured in MTextels/s or GTextels/s.
    • Vertex operations - La cantidad de operaciones de geometría que se puede procesar en los vertex shaders en un segundo (sólo aplicado a DirectX 9.0c y anteriores GPUs). Medido en MVertices/s.

  • All models support DirectX 9.0c and OpenGL 2.0
    • Note that ATI X1000 series cards (e.g. X1900) doesn't support Vertex Texture Fetch, hence it does not fully comply with the VS 3.0 model. Instead, they offer a feature called "Render to Vertex Buffer (R2VB)" that provides functionality that is an alternative Vertex Texture Fetch.
