Um Ki-joon (en coreano: 엄기준;nacido 23 de marzo de 1976) es un actor de Corea del Sur.

Biografía[editar]

En noviembre de 2020 tuvo que someterse a una prueba de COVID-19. El 24 de noviembre del mismo año, se confirmó que después de someterse a la prueba, sus resultados habían dado negativos.[1]​

Carrera[editar]

En agosto de 2021 se unió a la agencia Your Entertainment.[2]​

Um Ki-joon debutó como actor en 1995 en la obra de teatro Ricardo III, aunque más tarde se hizo conocido como actor de musicales, protagonizando Singin in the Rain,[3]​ Las penas del joven Werther,[4]​ Grease, Los tres mosqueteros,[5]​ Jack el Destripador,[6]​ El conde de Monte Cristo,[7]​[8]​ Atrápame si puedes,[9]​[10]​[11]​ y Rebecca.

También apareció en Patrick Marber en el papel de Closer.[12]​[13]​ También ha trabajado en series de televisión, como Life Special Investigation Team, Worlds Within, Hero,[14]​ Dream High,[15]​ Scent of a Woman and Phantom.[16]​[17]​ Otras series han sido Good Job y The Virus.[18]​

Ha interpretado el papel de villano en la película Man of Vendetta, frente a Kim Myung-min.[19]​ Le siguió un papel de detective en la película de terror Killer Toon, frente a Lee Si-young.[20]​ También participó en el thriller Inocente acusado, interpretando el papel de villano.[21]​ Junto al director y guionista de Inocente acusado participó en la serie dramática Cirujanos de corazón.[22]​

El 26 de octubre de 2020 se unió al elenco principal de la serie Penthouse: War In Life (también conocida como "Penthouse") donde interpretó a Joo Dan-tae, un peligroso y malvado hombre, que para obtener dinero y estatus, está dispuesto a hacer lo que sea, incluso matar.[23]​[24]​
