Nicoletta Cellinese (2 de junio de 1966 (52 años)[3]​ es una botánica, exploradora, curadora, taxónoma, profesora,[6]​ y biogeógrafa[7]estadounidense[8]​ de origen italiana.[1]

En 1999, realizó la defensa de su tesis doctoral, por la Universidad de Reading: Systematics of Melastomaceae.

Realiza actividades académcias y científicas en el laboratorio de botánica, del Museo de Historia Natural de Florida.[9][10]​ Se especializa en sistemática y filogenia de las subfamilias Sonerileae y Bertolonieae.[11]
