Un vial conteniendo Anagyrus lopezi, en un acto de suelta de esta especie organizado por el Departamento de Agricultura de Tailandia en la provincia de Khon Kaen. La avispilla es usada en el control de cochinillas en mandioca.

Anagyrus es un amplio género de avispas parasítica de la familia Encyrtidae con más de 270 especies.[3][4][5][6][7][8]Anagyrus está presente en todo el mundo.[9][10]​ Existe un subgénero de Anagyrus denominado Nesoanagyrus (Beardsley 1969)[11]
