Cómo firmar Ésta es tu página de discusión, en la que puedes recibir mensajes de otros wikipedistas. Cuando llegue a ser muy extensa, puedes archivar las discusiones pasadas. Para dejarle un mensaje a otro wikipedista debes escribirle en su página de discusión, si no no será notificado. Al final del mensaje debes firmar escribiendo ~~~~ o presionando el botón mostrado en la imagen. Recuerda que los artículos no se firman.

Update on merging rowing articles

Greetings MisterSynergy, Regarding your request to merge Remo olímpico and Remo en los Juegos Olímpicos, just letting you know that after placing the corresponding tags, I've requested the admins not to merge until Usuario:NaBUru38 has had the opportunity to leave his/her opinion on the corresponding talk pages. Thanks for your efforts. I discovered those two articles these days and found it difficult to distinguish what the difference should be (using Google Translate). If I had to write about this topic by myself—in dewiki I authored de:Rudern bei den Olympischen Spielen about exactly the same topic some time ago—then I would have done so in a single article, following the idea of covering one topic by one article. Since this issue also appeared to be an accident (to some extent), I thought that I should raise attention for it.

If you and your collegues think that it would be the best to keep both, then I’m perfectly fine with it. It would then be useful, however, to make a clear distinction between those articles, in order to allow Interwikis for both. Maybe one could become a list related to rowing at the Summer Olympics and linked against wikidata:Q1849386 or one of its sub-lists. Cheers, —MisterSynergy (discusión) 10:09 25 ago 2016 (UTC)

Greetings again: Pending a response from Usuario:NaBUru38, I forgot to mention above that in my first note to him/her I mentioned that, as a matter of principle, and due to my dread of having to wade through lengthy articles, I favoured two separate articles. However, as you rightly point out, it's clear that as regards interwikis it would be better to merge, so I'm easy with whatever s/he, you and any other interested user agree on.
