Nicoletta Cellinese (Italia, 2 de junio de 1974)[3] es una botánica, exploradora, curadora, taxónoma, profesora,[6] y biogeógrafa[7] estadounidense[8] de origen italiana.[1]
En 1999, realizó la defensa de su tesis doctoral, por la Universidad de Reading: Systematics of Melastomaceae.
Realiza actividades académicas y científicas en el laboratorio de botánica, del Museo de Historia Natural de Florida.[9][10] Se especializa en sistemática y filogenia de las subfamilias Sonerileae y Bertolonieae.[11]
