Cavia Inc. es una empresa desarrolladora de videojuegos japonesa, con sede en Tokio. Su nombre proviene de las siglas Computer Amusement Visualizer, aunque en su página web aluden también al caviar.[2] Fue fundada en marzo del 2000. En octubre de 2005, la empresa cambia de nombre a AQ Interactive. La empresa actual de Cavia es otra que hicieron para seguir con el desarrollo de videojuegos.[3]
Cavia, por lo general, desarrolla juegos en franquicias ya existente, como Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece o Ghost in the Shell, para diversas editoriales. En 2003 la empresa también desarrolló su propia franquicia con Drakengard y Drakengard 2 (2005), publicados por Square Enix. En 2005, AQ Interactive se convierte en el principal editor de Cavia. En 2006 desarrollan Bullet Witch para Xbox 360, y en 2010 desarrollan Nier para PlayStation 3 y Xbox 360.
