Peter "Biff" Byford, (15 de enero de 1951, Honley, Yorkshire del Oeste, Inglaterra) es un cantante británico, conocido por pertenecer al grupo Saxon.

Biografía [editar]
En la segunda mitad de los años setenta, Biff milita en un grupo llamado Coast, junto al guitarrista Paul Quinn. En 1976, ambos deciden abandonar la banda y unirse al grupo del guitarrista Graham Oliver y del bajista Steve Dawson, Son of a Bitch. Pronto se une a ellos el batería Pete Gill. Con la formación al completo, el grupo decide cambiarse de nombre por Saxon, sacando su primer disco en 1979, de título homónimo. Con este álbum se inician una serie de éxitos, convirtiendo al grupo y al propio Biff en una de las grandes formaciones de Heavy metal de todos los tiempos hasta la actualidad.

Biff Byford ha participado en el cortometraje del director aragonés Pablo Aragües Perceval, en el papel de Rey Arturo.
En 2007 colabora con la banda Helloween con una intro (Crack The Riddle) para el disco Gambling With The Devil.
En diciembre del año 2012 es anunciado como colaborador de la nueva Avantasia Rock Opera "The Mystery of Time", proyecto de Tobias Sammet .[1] En 2010 colabora con la banda alemana helloween en la introducción del tema "WHO MR.MADMAN"
