Personal Life[editar]

Bono was born and raised in Mallorca, España. His parents were rock singers and he has one sister named Celeste. He moved to Argentina for the first time at the age of five. He also lived in the United States and England. Religiously, he is now an atheist. In 2005 he decided to settle in Buenos Aires and attended the TEA school of journalism. He later attended the Universidad de Palermo where he majored in International Affairs.

Career Overview[editar]

After graduating high school Bono worked in various government and marketing positions. It was in 2005 that he realized he wanted to be a journalist and, after graduating, hit the ground running with his journalism career.

In 2009 he began writing a chronicle with the Argentina Independent. When he realized that the public wasn’t very receptive to the same, traditional article styling, he created a column written in an irreverent, funny tone: this quickly became the most popular weekly post from the Independent. It was then that the idea to create The Bubble struck him.

Later he worked with the Buenos Aires Herald website, hosting a weekly video segment called “Trending Now.”[3] His talent was noticed by Infobae who offered him a job which he accepted[4].

Bono hosted Infobae TV and created a “Top Five” segment dealing with daily news.

After working with them for a couple years, he refocused his efforts on founding and starting up The Bubble, an English news digital media publication that writes in an informal style covering real news. Bono is currently CEO of the company.

In addition to running The Bubble he occasionally writes for or is featured on CNN[5], BBC, Al Jazeera[6], Infobae, and NPR[7]
