Actor, Screenwriter, Director and Producer, was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. Mrs. Llinás relocated to Bogotá D.C., starting her acting career. One of the first big steps was in the production "Vendaval" when 14 y.o.
Licenced by the Colombian Ministry of Education in Performing Arts. has worked on an average of 24 soap operas, including the successful "Pero Sigo Siendo el Rey", "Candela", "Dios se lo Pague" and TV series like "Pandillas Guerra y Paz" (Netflix Latin-America) and "El Fiscal" among others with international presence. In Venezuela, featured in stellar productions such as "Estefania", "El Despertar", "Molinos de Viento", "Mabel Valdez". With 15 y.o., the film career started with the Colombia / German film "Respetables Delincuentes", "El Corsario Negro"; Colombia / Italy, "Eroticon"; Colombia /Mexico; "The Return of Django" in Italy, "The King of Salsa" and "Carmen G" in the United States. On Theater ventured as a child in works like "The Story of the Puss in Boots" and "Little Red Riding Hood"; years later in "Martyr of Calvary" and with Mario Vargas Llosa's, "Pantaleón y las visitadoras" at Teatro La Carrera in Bogotá, D.C.
In the United States has participated in TV, radio ads and voice overs talent. During her artistic trajectory has received several awards among them, "Antena Award" at her 14 y.o., in 1984 "The India Catalina" as Best Cast for the Soap Opera "Pero Sigo Siendo El Rey"; 'Latin Art" Awards as the Actress of the Year 2009. "Big Apple" Award for Excellence in 2009. In 2010 NYS's Governor Mr. David A. Paterson and its executive chamber congratulated her achievements and valuable contributions in the Cultural Landscape and the Film Industry of NYC. In 2011, the "Ace Award" (Association of Latin Entertainment Critics of NY), In 2012 "The Indie Fest Award as Leading Actress" for "Carmen G". In 2020 she started as a creative director for "The Immigrant", Awarded as a Best Creative Director of the Intl. Kansas Film Festival. Pierangeli, with her second feature film, as screenwriter/producer/director and main actor at "The Endless love of Salome" 2021. Director of the Film "Cofradia" for 2023, and coming feature "Love Intrinsic" 2023/ 2024.
