Dendropsophus es un género de anfibios anuros de la familia Hylidae que viven en América, desde el sur de México hasta el norte de Argentina. Había sido relegado a la sinonimia del género Hyla, pero los estudios genéticos lo han confirmado como un género claramente diferenciado, cuyas especies se caracterizan por tener 30 cromosomas.
