La discografía de Sinéad O'Connor, cantante irlandesa de géneros rock alternativo, folk rock y pop rock, consta de diez álbumes de estudio, cinco sencillos (incluyendo cuatro como artista invitada) y seis sencillos promocionales. Sus materiales discográficos son distribuidos por el sello Vanguard Records con licencia de Universal Music Latin Entertainment.
Su álbum de estudio debut, The Lion and the Cobra, fue lanzado en 1987 y tuvo éxito internacional. Su segundo álbum de estudio, I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got (1990), recibió críticas elogiosas tras su lanzamiento y se convirtió en su mayor éxito, vendiendo más de siete millones de copias en todo el mundo.
Obtuvo mayor reconocimiento en 1990, cuando lanzó la canción «Nothing Compares 2 U» que la misma fue nombrada número uno en el mundo por Billboard Music Awards.

En ese mismo año lanzó su cuarto álbum Universal mother. El álbum obtuvo el puesto 2 durante ocho semanas consecutivas en lo largo del año en listas de Suiza, Suecia y Reino Unido.
