Uso de topónimos españoles en Villagarcía de Arosa[editar]

Hola Sahaquiel9102/Archivo 2017. Se ha debatido mucho en la Wikipedia en español con respecto al uso de los topónimos de España en su lengua oficial (gallego, euskera, catalán, etc.), adoptándose finalmente una política de convención de títulos para los artículos.

La convención específica para topónimos de España dice que los topónimos deben utilizarse en castellano. A pesar de que las autoridades de las localidades de algunas comunidades autónomas bilingües españolas han decidido que el topónimo en el idioma distinto al castellano en su comunidad autónoma sea la única forma oficial (otras localidades han adoptado como oficial ambos topónimos, unidos habitualmente por un guion), una mayoría de usuarios de la Wikipedia en español prefiere conservar el uso de los topónimos (exónimos) tradicionales en nuestra lengua. En todo caso, aludir a las leyes que regulan el uso de topónimos tampoco es un argumento válido, por cuanto lo hacen sólo en el ámbito de la correspondiente documentación y señalización oficial, no en el resto de los usos.
