Bush es una banda inglesa de post-grunge y rock alternativo formada en 1992, en Londres considerada la pionera del género post grunge.

Historia [editar]
Su álbum de debut fue Sixteen Stone, en 1994. Llamados Bush por el distrito londinense de Sheperd's Bush. En 1996 estrenaron su segundo álbum, Razorblade Suitcase, en el que se observan sus primeros coqueteos con la electrónica. De éste álbum se editaría una versión de remezclas titulada Deconstructed al año siguiente. En 1999 se edita su tercer álbum de estudio, The Science of Things, cuyas ventas comienzan a no responder a las expectativas creadas por sus dos álbumes anteriores. Finalmente, se edita en 2001 su último álbum de estudio, Golden State, cuyas decepcionantes ventas y la falta de apoyo por parte del sello Atlantic provocaron la desintegración de la banda. Los miembros de la banda han comenzado a trabajar en varios proyectos, siendo el de Gavin Rossdale, Institute, el más notable de ellos. En 2005 se editó una recopilación de sus mejores temas bajo el título Best Of: 1994-1999, que incluye sus clásicos: "Everything Zen", "Little Things", "Comedown", "Machinehead", "Glycerine", "Swallowed", "Greedy Fly", "Warm Machine", "The Chemical Between Us" y "Letting the Cables Sleep". Los vídeos de los singles de sus dos primeros álbumes fueron editados en Alleys and Motorways, donde se incluyen además algunas actuaciones en directo.
