Andrea Bakartxo Tejería Otermin Nació en Donostia, el 28 de marzo de 1971 Licenciada en Derecho y Abogada.

Los picuris (de pikuri "aquellos que pintan") (pronunciado|pɪkəˈriːs) son una tribu india de lengua tiwa (grupo de lenguas kiowa-tanoanas) y cultura pueblo que vive en Nuevo México. Su lengua tenía unos 109 parlantes en 1990. Según datos del BIA de 1995, había 260 apuntados al rol tribal, pero según el censo de 2000 estaban registrados 323 individuos. El pueblo Picuris (condados de Taos, Nuevo México) tiene 86 habitantes, de los cuales el 70,93 % son amerindios y el 26,76 % hispanos.

Según el United States Census Bureau, el CDP tiene un area total de 0.4 milla cuadradas (1.2 km²), en toda su tierra.
Demographics[editar]
As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 86 people, 38 households, and 18 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 192.7 people per square mile (73.8/km²). There were 60 housing units at an average density of 134.4/sq mi (51.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 10.47% White, 70.93% Native American, 16.28% from other races, and 2.33% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 26.74% of the population.
There were 38 households out of which 10.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 21.1% were married couples living together, 13.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 52.6% were non-families. 42.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.26 and the average family size was 3.33.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 16.3% under the age of 18, 10.5% from 18 to 24, 30.2% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 18.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females there were 95.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 105.7 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $11,528, and the median income for a family was $16,875. Males had a median income of $21,000 versus $23,333 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $12,492. There were 36.0% of families and 28.7% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 45.0% of those over 64.
