| Descripción |
English: The signing ceremony was held in Rome, in the Hall of Horaces and Curiaces, where the Treaty establishing the European Community was signed in 1957 by the six founding countries: France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Among the candidate countries, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey signed the final act while Croatia merely participated in the ceremony. After the signing of the Treaty, the Member States will have to ratify the Constitution in accordance with their respective internal procedures. This process should take about two years. |
