Vinciguerria mabahiss[1] es un pez que pertenece a la familia Phosichthyidae.[2] Esta especie fue descrita científicamente en 1984 por Robert Karl Johnson y Ross M. Feltes.[3]
Vinciguerria mabahiss es batipelágico y puede alcanzar los 500 metros de profundidad. Habita principalmente en el Mar Rojo y es inofensivo para el ser humano.
