I am 16. My heritage is Cuban and Swiss. My family is said to come from the province of Raetia in the Roman Empire. Sometime after that, my family moved to what is now Barcelona in the Roman Province of Hispania Terraconensis.

They have lived on the Iberian Peninsula until sometime after the 17th century, when my ancestors acquired some 17,000 acres in the province of Matanzas, somewhere near Camagüey. Their land was sold when my family moved to Miami, Florida; this took place about 5 years before the reign of Fidel Castro. I can guess why they moved. ;)

Anyways, my family stayed in the Little Havana District in Miami, appropriately named "Calle Ocho", meaning 8th street. My father and mother moved to Orlando, farther north, when my brother was born. I was born about 20 years afterwards, in Florida Hospital Orlando on Rollins St., September 30, 1990.
