Literally-- Ms. Ginkgo100, I need you to believe me.

My first and only reaction to your (unsigned, undated) entry in my Talk Page in the Spanish Wikipedia has been puzzlement.

FIRST, I emphatically state that I never made that obnoxious edit to your Talk Page. The only edit I ever did to it was on November 2, 2006, but I made a mistake: I had NOT signed in, so my edit was timestamped as originating from my IP number '190.36.235.102', a situation which I attempted to correct by manually inserting my user name, as you can see here: http://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Usuario_discusi%C3%B3n%3AGinkgo100&diff=5391092&oldid=5391074

I warn you that I'm an incorregible corrector: you don't say 'empezé' but 'empecé', as it occurs with verbs ending in '-zar', like comenzar, atizar, almorzar, actualizar, realizar, etc.

SECOND, If you look at my complete list of previous contributions (user: AVM), you won't find any edit to your user page:, namely, if you search for 'Ginkgo100', you'll find there's no entry, that is, except this one and eventual subsequent edits. This is in agreement with the fact that in your Talk Page's history there are no edits from user AVM. Please see both webpages:

THIRD, from your Talk Page's history above, it is evident that that vandalic edit came from unnamed user '190.163.50.221', who corrupted my original 2006 entry, and this also matches with his history of "contributions", namely: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Especial:Contribuciones/190.163.50.221

So, that vandal ('190.163.50.221') is the culprit, and I'm innocent.

Incidentally, when you reverted that vandalism of last May 4, you obliterated your whole Talk Page, which made my research above more difficult. Strange, considering you are an Admin in the English WP.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by this awkward and ghastly event. The guy is an idiot in Chile who can't even write decent Spanish (I looked his IP in Whois). I've experienced many bad moments in the English Wikipedia, too.
