Blazhko es un cráter de impacto lunar situado en el hemisferio norte de la cara oculta de la Luna, al noroeste del cráter Joule, y al sur del Gadomski.

El borde de este cráter es casi circular, con algunas irregularidades. The rim of this crater is generally circular, but with some irregularities. There is a small outward bulge in the rim to the east-southeast, and an inward bulge on the opposite face. There is also a slight outward bulge along the north rim. The satellite crater Blazhko F is attached to the exterior of the east rim. The inner wall along the northeast face is striated with terraces. The interior floor is relatively level.

The satellite crater Blazhko T, located due south of Blazhko, has a higher albedo than its surroundings, and possesses a ray system. The most prominent of these rays extends southward, crossing the floor of the crater Harvey.

Satellite craters[editar]

By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid-point that is closest to Blazkho.
