Valentina Quintero Montiel (Caracas, June 28 1954) is a Venezuelan journalist, environmental activist, explorer of the most emblematic places in Venezuela, tv and radio host and writer.

Biography[editar]

She's the daughter of Tony Quintero and Ana Carlota Montiel de Quintero; has two older siblings, Cristobal and Susana, and two younger siblings, Ines and Antonio. She went to the San José de Tarbes School in Caracas from kinder up to her senior year and graduated with an emphasis in humanities. She earned her Communications degree in 1976 from the Andres Bello Catholic University, with a minor in audiovisual media.

Career[editar]

In 1986, she met Elizabeth Fuentes and from that point on she wrote the column "The Idleness Manual" in the Sunday magazine o El Nacional newspaper.
