René Froger (Ámsterdam, 5 de noviembre de 1960) es un cantante neerlandés.
Creció y pasó sus primeros años en el distrito de Jordaan. Su padre, Bolle Jan, regentaba un café donde comenzó a actuar de niño. Empezó con Ted de Braak y Mini en Maxi y en 1987 debutó con su sencillo, Love Leave Me, pero no consiguió tener mucho éxito hasta que un año después su Winter in America se coló en los primeros puestos del Top 40 holandés y más tarde consiguió su primer número uno Alles kan een mens gelukkig maken,con Het Goede Doel.
Desde 1989 ha sacado más singles, pero sin demasiado éxito.
Forofo del Ajax, comenzó su gira "Pure & More" en el Ámsterdam Arena.
En 2005 le diagnosticaron un cáncer de próstata que le ha supuesto varias complicaciones.
Desde 2005 colabora con Gerard Joling y Gordon en el grupo De Toppers. Su hija Natascha se casó el 21 de abril de 2006 y el 23 de octubre dio a luz a su nieto Charlie René.
