• December 30 1853: Launch as the Steamship Peytona
• August 1, 1853: Begins service refit at New York for service along the pacific coast
• 1853-1854: Operated service line between Honolulu and Portland, with San Francisco as a port of call.
• December 31 1854: Peytona arrived in Valparaiso, along with the steamers Polynesia and Eudora, would operate from Caldera to Chiloe.
• 1856: Peytona was owned is owned J.H. Bonen
• 1857: Purchase by Peruvian rebel Manuel Ignacio de Vivanco and is renamed Lambayeque.
• January 13 1858: Captured by the Peruvian government at the battle of Bellavista
• ?? ?? ???: Was integrated into the Peruvian navy and renamed General Lerzundi
• 1865: sold to the Chilean government renamed Lautauro.
• February 4 1866: While traveling from Abtao to Ancud it had a boiler explosion that damaged the null and left it cripple
• February 7 1866: Participated in the battle of Abtao, in which it remained stranded and inoperable during the battle.
• March 3 1866: It was taken to the entrance of the River Huito and was sunk to block entrance and obstruct the Spanish ships.
