Duo Manzanilla- Saglimbeni[editar]
It was in 1983 that Ana Beatriz and Pedro performed for the first time as a Duo. On that occasion, they performed the Sinfonia Concertante by W.A.Mozart, accompanied by the Orquestra Sinfónica de Lara, a work that they have performed on more than 30 occasions with different orchestras in Venezuela, Panama, France and Portugal.
In recitals this duo performed pieces by Mozart, Bach, Hoffmeister, Handel-Halvorsen, Villa-Lobos and Martinu on tours through Venezuela, Colombia, Chile and Argentina, as well as in Europe in Italy, Poland, England and Germany.
In Portugal they performed with the Sinfónica Portuguesa under the direction of Julia Jones at the São Carlos National Theater and with the Gulbenkian Orchestra in their 2010 season with conductor Simone Young. They were also soloists accompanied by the Orchestra Do Norte, Orquestra Clássica do Centro, Orquestra Do Algarve and Orquestra de Cascais and Oeiras. In 1998, they represented their country, Venezuela, at the Universal Exhibition Expo 98 in Lisbon.
Ana Beatriz and Pedro had the privilege of making the debut in Venezuela and Portugal of the Double Concerto for violin, viola and orchestra by B. Britten.
The long-standing work is recorded on two CDs with the Duos de Mozart and the Duos de Martinú and Villa-Lobos, as a tribute in the fiftieth anniversary of their deaths in 2009, produced by RTP (Antena 2). 65.34.222.56 (discusión) 21:39 13 jun 2022 (UTC)
