Discusión:Brachynema
Just a point - do not use the International Plant Names Index as an estimation of number of species. IPNI contains all published names, both valid and invalid ones. Only ramiflorum and axillare are names for species in the olacaceous genus Brachynema. The other two are actually invalid synonyms for Sphenodesme microstylis in Lamiaceae (B. ferruginea) and Abrophyllum ornans in Rousseaceae (B.ornans) respectively.
