La siguiente lista muestra las principales empresas navieras de contenedores a nivel mundial, según el número de barcos operativos, tanto en propiedad como en alquiler. Hapag-Lloyd tenía en su haber una flota de 249 barcos; cifra que la situó en la quinta posición en una clasificación liderada por Mediterranean Shg Co.
Principales compañías navieras
[editar]Esta es una lista de las 30 compañías de transporte de contenedores más grandes a partir de abril de 2023, según Alphaliner, clasificadas en orden de capacidad de unidad equivalente a veinte pies (TEU) de su flota.[1] En enero de 2022, MSC superó a Maersk como la línea de contenedores con la mayor capacidad de envío por primera vez desde 1996.[2] Hanjin Shipping también fue una de las más grandes, pero ya no existe.[3]
