La serie se estrenó en The CW el 9 de octubre de 2017.[1]​ La serie fue cancelada el 8 de mayo de 2018.[2]​

The CW ordenó oficialmente Valor como serie el 10 de mayo de 2017.[19]​

Casting

El 17 de febrero de 2017, Matt Barr fue elegido como el capitán Leland Gallo, un oficial al mando y se describe como "un viejo inconformista",[3]​ seguido un mes más tarde por la elección de Christina Ochoa como la oficial Nora Madani, una co-piloto, "una intensa y dirigida piloto junior del ejército que es una miembro de la unidad de operaciones especiales Night Raiders".[4]​

Rodaje
