RIP TXNY

Felipe González Avila ( Santiago, Chile ) also known as RIP TXNY is an independent artist, music producer and DJ. His most recent performances were for Red Bull Music, and playing an opening set for King Woman at The Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York.

Early days, Santiago 2012-2016

• 2014 Officially launches its first DJ Mix "WINTER IS DEAD" and makes its first appearances in different Partys from Santiago.

• 2015 directs a clothing firm, release a 2nd DJ mix, produce a series of parties and promotes his music through these platforms.

• 2016 He release a third DJ mix "TAURINA" and collaborates in the first Neoperreo with Tomasa Del Real and he decided to join her as official DJ on her first world tour. he release a third DJ mix "TAURINA".

Neoperreo era, Mexico & L.A. 2017 - 2019

• 2017 RIP TXNY release his first official EP " Deep Web " and a new dj mix "Besa el Dragon" that would come out on FM4 (Radio Austria). He moves to Mexico and he premiered his first official music production " Toto " with the Grammy Winner Ulises Lozano, Tomasa del Real and Jamez Manuel.

• 2018 RIP TXNY, Based in L.A. and coproducing next to Dj Blass and Ulises Lozano works on Amor de Cali by Ricci Motora ( Neoperreo ), La bellaca del año ( National Records ) by Tomasa del Real and was the recording engineer for Llorando por dentro Perreando por fuera ( Mad Decent ) by Ms Nina. also produce singles and videos for the Netlabel Neoperreo ( Mira Mira , Cuando tu quieras , Loca , Toto and more ). He license music for the Red Bull TV, Netflix and play live for Red Bull Music in Los Angeles.

• 2019 this year his musical collaborations had been played in EDC, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Cabuland, MoMa and more. seeing this he decide to have his first DJ/Producer Tour in Mexico visiting CDMX, San Luis, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Guadalajara and more. After the Mexico Tour he decides to move to NYC and release his first producer self titled EP ( Independent )

Being Independent, NYC

• 2020 Now based in NYC release a serie of productions, create his own lavel, play a live set for Red Bull Music at Elsewhere ( Brooklyn, NY ) and release Sunrise mixing country and afro-latin rhythms. release his 4th DJ mix,

• 2021 works on several tracks for Entropica’s new album “Sigma”. Decides to start using his real name on his productions.

• 2022 Felipe plays an opening live set for King Woman at the Music Hall of Williamsburg ( Brooklyn, NY ), release 2 singles like Felipe Gonzalez called Portal and Canal.

• 2023 Felipe premiere a monthly Radio Show on the Hong Kong Community Radio, plays constantly live shows In NYC and has released a new single called Latex.
