Sam Heughan, es un actor escocés mejor conocido por interpretar a Jamie Fraser en la serie Outlander.
Biografía
Sam entrenó en el "Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama", '"RSAMD" (ahora conocido como Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) en Glasgow.
Carrera
En el 2004 se unió al elenco de la miniserie Island at War donde interpretó a Philip Dorr, alias "Mr. Brotherson",[1] el único hijo de James y Felicity, que es enviado a la isla como espía en una misión de reconocimiento, al final Philip es enviado a Francia como prisionero de guerra luego de ser descubierto intentando escapar de vuelta a Gran Bretaña con información y fotos sobre las instalaciones militares de Alemania en la isla.
En el 2007 apareció como invitado en un episodio de la serie Rebus donde dio vida a Peter Carr.
El 30 de septiembre del 2009 se unió al elenco recurrente de la serie médica Doctors donde interpretó al vendedor de drogas Scott Nielson, el novio de la enfermera Cherry Malone (Sophie Abelson); hasta el 29 de noviembre del mismo año después de que su personaje muriera mientras dormía.
En el 2010 interpretó al joven Alexander en la película Young Alexander the Great.
En agosto del 2014 se unirá al elenco principal de la nueva serie Outlander donde interpretará a Jamie Fraser, un guerrero escocés de 1743, que termina enamorándose de Claire Beauchamp (Caitriona Balfe), cuando ella es misteriosamente arrastrada a su época.[2][3][4]
