April the fourth month of year in Gregorian Calendar has 30 days. Ancient romans called it Aprilis in latin.

It also can be a name of a latin person because in other languages its significance changes.

The origin of the word april istn't exactly known. It has been wanted to connect with the verb aperire 'to open' way by the alleged aperilis associating this month to spring that opens the earth, flowers, etc.. Ovidio joins this idea, but that probably there is not an etymological basis to support it.

It also has been proposed as the origin of Greek aphrós ‘foam’ through the aphrilis from. April was dedicated to the Venus goddes, who, was born from foam and its name in Greek Aphrodite, the word carries within foam.

April birthstone is diamond, and its birthflower is daisy.
