English: This is a picture of Olive Beamish (1890-1978), a suffragette from the turn of the 19th to 20th century. Olive was caught with incendiary materials and imprisoned in Holloway prison for being a suffragette where she was able to use the name Phyllis Brady. While in prison, the police took photographs of suffragettes covertly in the hope of identifying them should they try to enter public buildings later. Olive was released under the "Cat and Mouse" act, but was caught again burning down Lady Whites house.
