Notas
- ↑ "Union-Tribune sold to Platinum Equity", The San Diego Union-Tribune, 18 de marzo de 2009. "But over the years the Copley papers were sold, closed or merged. The Union and Evening Tribune combined in 1992, during a period when changing readership habits combined with a weak economy to doom many afternoon papers around the country." y "At one time, the Union was the flagship of a Copley chain that included some four dozen daily and weekly newspapers in California and Illinois. The Evening Tribune won two Pulitzer Prizes --… one in 1979 and one in 1987 -- and the Union-Tribune, jointly with the Copley News Service, won for national reporting in 2006."
