DescripciónWILHELM REICH, Creator of the Orgone Energy theory (7042179947).jpg
Wilhelm Reich (March 24, 1897 – November 3, 1957) was an Austrian-American psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, known as one of the most radical figures in the history of psychiatry. He was the author of several notable books, including The Mass Psychology of Fascism and Character Analysis, both published in 1933.

By a belated interest in Freud, I found information about a famous individual, Wilhelm Reich, in Wikipedia. Reich's theory about energy captured my interest. It is with a certain amount of shame that I confess I had never heard of Reich or his theory. Now, in the autumn of my life, I ask myself if I would have benefited intellectually had I known about "orgone energy" when I was in my youth. Would my life been enriched if I had known how to apply the orgone theory to my lifestyle, or was I applying this theory to my life but without a name to identify it in some manner. Some might say that "sowing one's wild oats" would be a simple way to identify such a theory. Nevertheless, it is with some regret that I am just now learning about Wilhelm Reich.
