Keane es una banda británica de rock alternativo formada en 1997. Su discografía se compone de cuatro álbumes de estudio, cuatro álbumes en directo, tres EP y 21 sencillos. Sus tres primeros álbumes han debutado en el número 1 en el Reino Unido incluyendo el EP Night Train. Su primer álbum Hopes and Fears es el más exitoso de su carrera, con 5.7 millones de copias vendidas, consiguiendo 9x platino en el Reino Unido, mientras que en Estados Unidos fue certificado con el Disco de Oro, llegando a vender casi 1 millón de copias en ese país. El éxito del álbum se dio en gran parte gracias a sencillos como "Somewhere Only We Know" o "Everybody's Changing", que alcanzaron altas posiciones en las listas del Reino Unido. Si bien su segundo álbum Under the Iron Sea de 2006 no logró igualar en ventas a su predecesor, llegó a vender más de 2 millones y medio de copias, y la gira mundial los llevó por primera vez a países sudamericanos. En 2008 vio la luz su tercer álbum Perfect Symmetry, que a pesar de haber debutado en el número 1 del Reino Unido y en el número 7 en el Billboard 200 de Estados Unidos, se convirtió en el menos vendido de su carrera, con ventas de alrededor de 700 mil copias. En mayo de 2010 editaron el EP Night Train, que consiguió el Disco de Plata en su país. El 7 de mayo de 2012 Keane lanzó su cuarto álbum de estudio, titulado Strangeland
