Los machos pueden llegar alcanzar los 51 cm de longitud total.[1][2]

Hábitat[editar]
Es un pez de mar, y de aguas profundas que vive entre 388–412 m de profundidad.[1][3]
Distribución geográfica[editar]
Se encuentra en el océano Atlántico occidental central: las Bahamas.[1]

Es inofensivo para los humanos.[1]
