| Descripción | 051024-N-4374S-002 Atlantic Ocean (Oct. 24, 2005) - The Spanish frigate SPS Santa Maria (F 81), top, the Brazilian frigate BNS Rademaker (F 49), center, and the Argentinean destroyer Almirante Brown (D-10), steam in formation off the coast of Brazil. Naval forces from Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Uruguay and the United States are participating in UNITAS 47-06 Atlantic phase. This is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored exercise that enhances friendly, mutual cooperation and understanding between participating navies by enhancing interoperability in naval operations among the nations of the Western Hemisphere. |
