Published caption:KNOW YOUR CITY, NO. 53 -- This is really a toughie and, if you think it is Fern Dell in Griffith Park, you couldn’t be wronger. Not too many people have seen this rock garden. Clue: If you mined, you might find copper. Answer on Page3, Part 2. Publication:Los Angeles Times Publication date:January 9, 1956 Notes:ANSWER: You really couldn’t be expected to recognize the scene in the photo, but just to satisfy your curiosity, it is a picturesque rock garden hidden behind the Police Academy in Elysian Park.
