DescripciónDuct-tape Moving Van.jpg	English: Commentary on image: I was thinking about calling this one “I Knew I Shoulda Bought a Truck.” Or “Never Heard of U-Haul, Eh?” Or “Sure Hope It Doesn’t Rain.” And no doubt there’s a sad, desperate story behind this tableau… assuming it isn’t a college prank (they used to see how many people could cram in a phone booth, maybe now it’s how many boxes you can jam into a hatchback). But holy cow, the number of hazards boggles my mind. There’s so much stuff in the back that it looks like the driver’s seat has been pushed forward. Another photo in this series showed that the passenger’s door wasn’t closed. The doors are taped shut, for goodness sake. Being able to see out of the back isn’t usually considered a luxury. And if any of this baggage falls off, which is only a matter of time and miles, it will create problems for the people behind you in traffic. On the plus side, she is wearing a seatbelt. Please, use the right tool for the job. A screwdriver isn’t a chisel, and a Geo isn’t a moving van. Make two or three trips if you have to. It will be cheaper than the ticket you could get for whatever moving violation this represents.
