¿Hablas español? ¿English? π (discusión) 18:50 5 jul 2012 (UTC)[responder]

I speak mainly english and not at all spanish. Regards, Pradigue (discusión) 06:43 6 jul 2012 (UTC)[responder]
Hi. I will try in english, then :-)
The image you deleted is a reproduction of this one. The temple is (hardly) seen in the center of the scene, although for some reason the image is flipped over. Of course the image is false, but is not an invention (the scene is seen in the DVD with more detail). Because there wasn't a better image to illustrate the article, I decided to reproduce it, only in volumetry. In the text is clearly shown that is an "approximate volumetry" of the temple, and nothing more. The reference of the DVD is: Lost Treasures Of The Ancient World - Carthage. Cromwell Productions (2003).
I wish to discuss the situation before doing anything, but I consider that the image you deleted is well referenced, and being the only image at our disposal, is valid. Mainly because, as I said, it never pretended to be more than it is: an approximate volumetry based on the images of that video. Regards. π (discusión) 11:19 7 jul 2012 (UTC)[responder]
Hi. I did not delete the image on commons ! There is no image of the temple because it was located on Byrsa and Romans destroyed the original hill to build the forum. It is hard to illustrate Carthage on wikipedia, I wrote many articles (which ot them are translated on spanish now ;-) ). For the ports there are enough images to illustrate, without using such image. The article tells with the ports. For the article about the temple of Eshmoun I agree with you, but it is necessary to explain. I don't speak spanish and can't do it personaly. Hello again. I wrote an adicional explanation about the absence of the hill in the picture. If you want to add more information or explanations to the "Temple of Eshmoun" article, you can tell me and with pleasure i'll write them down. I couldn't find other articles about the Eshmoun temple in other wikipedias, nor images (the reason that impeled me to create that one).
Concerning with the other article about the ports, maybe you are right, but I feel we should replace it with other illustration. I found those ones, [1] [2] [3] [4], but in my opinion none of them allow the reader to imagine the port aspect 2000 years ago, wich was the original objective. PS: maybe this other picture, in combination with the other, could do the job about the Eshmoun temple. ¿What do you think? π (discusión) 11:32 8 jul 2012 (UTC)[responder]
Hi
File:Maquette_port_marchand_ciney.jpg and File:Carthage_National_Museum_representation_of_city.jpg are great. For the ports in the french wikipedia ([5]) we chose many pictures. I agree with your proposal. Regards. Pradigue (discusión) 18:47 8 jul 2012 (UTC)[responder]
