Brachydiastematherium es un género extinto de brontotéridos (mamíferos perisodáctilos) que vivieron en lo que ahora es Europa, en el Eoceno superior (Priaboniense). Sus restos fósiles, entre los que destaca una mandíbula parcial, se han encontrado en la Formación de Valea Nadăşului, cerca de Cluj-Napoca, en Transilvania, Rumania.

En comparación con otras especies de brontotéridos, se sugiere que Brachydiastematherium habría tenido una cabeza alargada, no muy diferente a la de Dolichorhinus. Mediría 2 metros de altura, y se conoce una sola especie, B. transylvanicum. Su nombre genérico viene del griego βραχύς (corto) διάστημα (espacio) θηρίον (bestia), que se refiere a la separación inexistente entre su canino y el primer premolar, y el nombre de especie se debe a la región rumana donde se encontró.^[1]^[2]
