El imaginar las huríes como esclavas sexuales de los hombres no es más que el fruto de la distorsión, manipulación y la ignorancia, y sobre todo los sueños eróticos de los hombres de medio planeta. En realidad Huríes son sirvientes tanto de hombres como mujeres que han llegado al paraíso, hay huríes de sexo masculino como femenino, tienen extraordinaria belleza y juventud eterna.


Pensar que a un hombre le esperan 72 vírgenes deseosas de placer no es más que la representación de las fantasías eróticas de algunos, despreciaría a la mujer, etc. Se dice que las huries son como perlas desparramadas.

En el Islam, el ḥūr o ḥūrīyah (árabe: حورية‎) son descritos como "(espléndidos)[1] compañeros de la misma edad [2]", "de bellos ojos"[3], of "mirada modesta"[4], "voluptuoso/a",[5] "seres puros" o "compañeros puros" del paraíso, tanto para humanos como para djinns que entran al paraíso después de ser recreados perfectos en el nuevo orden.[6] Hay descripciones gráficas de placeres físicos en el Cielo.Asimismo, el Islam posee una enorme tradición mística que instala estos placeres celestiales en el contexto del extático conocimiento de Dios.[7]

En la religión islámica, una hurí es una bellísima doncella o chico virgen de ojos negros y almendrados, cuya dulcísima compañía en el eden todo/a verdadero/a mahometano /a gozará tras la muerte. Estas doncellas, que tienen el don de la eterna juventud y están dotadas de toda suerte de encantos, simbolizan para algunos musulmanes la eterna bienaventuranza.

Las huríes han sido largamente descritas como"mujerees castas"[8], "fefrenamiento de placer"[8][9], "de mirada modesta"[4], "de ojos grandes y hermosos"[8][10][11][3], "intactas/con el himen intacto"[9][12], "como perlas"[13], "vírgenes"[14], "voluptuosas/ de senos llenos"[15][5], "de senos grandes y redondos, sin tendencia a caer"[16], "compañeras de la misma edad"[15][2], "no menstruantes/no orinan/ no defecan y no tienen hijos"[16][17], "60 cubits [27.5 metros] de alto"[18][19][17], "transparentes hasta la médula de sus huesos"[16][20], "eternamente jovenes"[21], "sin cabello, a excepción de las cejas y la cabeza"[21], "puras"[20], "bellas"[20], "blancas"[22], "espléndidas"[1] y muchas otras.

Raíz Hebrea Correspondiente

El adjetivo correspondiente en hebreo es חיוור, "hiwer", como lenguas semíticas comparten la raíz h-w-r,que significa, pálido, blanco.

Discordancia de Hurí como "Ramera"

La palabra inglesa "whore"(ramera), (alemán Hure, danés hore, sueco hora, holandés hoer, gótico hors, proto germánico *hōrōn) vene de la raíz verbal indoeuropea *kā- "to love" (así, el significado original era "amante") y no está relacionada etimológicamente con la raíz árabe "houri".
