Correct title?

Hello! Sorry to adress in English, but I do not speak Spanisch.
Are you sure, that the titel of the article is correct? In English, there is a distinctio between "(cross) currency swap" and "FX Swap". This page links to the englisch and german WP-page for "(cross) currency swap"

However, in an internet dictonary, I found the following:
(cross) currency swap oder german "Währungsswap" is amongst others "permuta financiera de intereses en divisas" [[1]]
FX Swap or german "Devisenswap" (which would be the verbatim translation of "Swap de divisas") is " permuta de divisas" or "swap de divisas" [[2]], which is I think something differnt from what you describe here.

I know an internet dictonary is not 100% reliable, but I do not have a financial dictionary Spanish-English or Spanish-German. Could please somebody check? My talk page on the german WP is de:Benutzer Diskussion:Marinebanker. Best regards --84.177.72.31 (discusión) 14:02 3 ene 2012 (UTC)

Hi! First of all, thanks for your appreciation, most welcomed! I am the one who created the article, which in fact is a translation of the English version Currency swap, so I believe the content of the article should match the title. For the title, I translated it directly from English, but only after checking that the title was the same in at least other language (French, the only other I speak, sorry I don't know a word of German!). In French it is Swap de devises, which is also the same title as in Spanish.

In Spanish we normally translate "Swap" for "permuta financiera", like you saw in a dictionary, but in Wikipedia the Spanish entry for Swap is left with the English title, you can see it here: Swap (finanzas). That's why I think it's ok to left Swap (de divisas) in the title.

So, answering to your question, I think the title for the article is correct. But to avoid confusion I would add when I have the time, like in the French version, a mention to the difference between "cross currency swap" and "FX swap".

Hello. I would say it would be "Swap de tipo de cambio", or just simply "Forex Swap", I think we normally call it by the name in English. Anyway, I'm economist and have worked in banking for some years, but I'm not an expert in capital markets at all! So if I'm wrong I hope someone with more knowledge in the field could help us.
