Maybe noteworthy that not all sorts of "aji colorado" refer to this C. chinense breed. There are also Bolivian variants of C. baccatum called "aji colorado", which are closely related to the yellow aji amarillo. So the safe way is to call this Peruvian variant by the name of "aji panca", that's clearly the unusually mild chinense breed.
