English: German WW2 Self-propelled Siege Mortar
Designer and Manufacturer:- Rheinmetall Produced:- 1940 to 1942 Total production:- 7 Main Armament:- 600mm Gerät 040 Howitzer German Siege Mortar originally designed to attack the Maginot Line. Originally built with the 600mm Gerät 040, three were later converted to the 540mm Gerät 041 which had a longer range. This is the sole survivor of the seven built and is painted to represent “Adam” although it is believed to actually be “Ziu”. It still has the original Gerät 040 Howitzer and is on display in what is best known as Hall 5 of the Kubinka Tank Museum, although its official title is now Pavilion 5 in Area 2 of the Park Patriot museum.
